Service Technicians will be able to install and service Furnaces, Air Conditioners, Humidifiers, Germicidal Light, Air Purifiers, and Spacegards. They will start up new equipment, making sure the equipment is running smoothly, and the area is cleaned, vacuumed, stickers are on the equipment, and there are no leaks in the gas lines, freon lines, or water dripping from equipment. They will make sure valves are open; furnaces are switched on and check blower speed. If the customer has other equipment that we service, we will check that equipment to make sure nothing else is needed for that homeowner. Our job is to service that homeowner. It is the service person’s job to be friendly and patient with the customer and explain what was done and answer questions. If the customer is not present, a note or call to the customer to inform him/her of what was done is required. For a regular service call, just a note to let them know we were there. Service people will be able to install line sets and installation of HAVC material when service work is slow. They are responsible for keeping the parts room clean and making sure parts are ordered when supplies are getting low.
